Choosing Skin Products at Pregnancy

British study points out that if prenatal exposure to a lot of hairspray, the chances for the fetus to have hypospadias will be double; research indicates that hair spray contained phthalates which would disrupt the body's hormonal system, thereby affecting the fetal genital development. Some whitening skin care products containing vitamin A acid composition (Retinoids), may also lead to birth defects. Pregnant women can use a basic moisturizing cleansing treatment (fragrance and alcohol free) and sun screen also, whitening will depend on ingredients, if apply too excessive can lead to poisoning, it is also not recommended in pregnant women to use. In addition, it is important to maintain a balanced diet and adequate rest; do not worry too much skin problem that affects physical, psychological and health of the fetus.


Skin care of pregnant women:

 

1. Pimples – Apply mild cleansing products to wash facial area, avoid using alcohol and fragrance products, will naturally subside after delivery.

 

 

2. Spots - pregnant women, hormonal changes affect the melanin, the formation of pigmentation, good sun protection measures, will gradually fade after delivery.

 

 

3. Sensitive skin - as long as the use of appropriate skin cream can relieve the symptoms disappear after delivery.

 

 

4. Skin-whitening - does not recommend the use of Vitamin A acid and hydroquinone whitening products.

 

 

5. Laser phototherapy treatment - does not affect the health of the fetus, but not the use of steroids and strong antibiotics to treat the infection, it is not recommended.
